2. Website access and hosting

The website is delivered through Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and its delivery network. Access involves processing technically necessary connection and request data, including IP address, time, requested page or file, request status and technical information sent by the browser, such as browser type and referrer where provided.

The purposes are website delivery, troubleshooting, operational security and prevention of abusive access. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is reliable and secure delivery. The hosting provider's operational statistics help monitor availability, load and errors. We do not use them to create personal advertising profiles.

Netlify processes hosting data as a technical service provider. Processing is governed by its Data Processing Agreement, incorporated into Netlify's contractual terms. Its global network may process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. Under Netlify's current terms, transfers to Netlify rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; where that framework does not apply, the terms provide for EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Details of safeguards and subprocessors are available through the Netlify Trust Center. You can also ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.

Technical data is retained only as needed for the operational and security purposes described. The criteria are the technical function of the data, investigation of specific faults or security incidents and the hosting provider's deletion rules. Longer retention requires a legal need. We do not maintain an additional personal visitor database.

3. Fonts, images and browser storage

Font files, images and interface scripts are delivered from our website. We do not embed Google Fonts, maps, videos or social-media services for these purposes. We do not use our own marketing cookies, Google Analytics, advertising pixels or comparable analytics trackers.

Netlify displays a hosting badge. Its controls may use local browser storage for functional display settings. These settings control the badge's appearance and are not used for advertising profiles. You can delete them through your browser's website-data settings. Where temporary hiding is offered, the stored validity expires after seven days. Technically necessary or expressly requested functions are subject to section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021; where personal data is processed, the basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Contact by email or phone

When you contact us, we process the contact details you provide, your message, any attachments and technical data needed for communication. The purpose is to handle and answer your enquiry. Contract-related enquiries rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in appropriate communication. Legally required retention relies on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

The technical provider of the support mailbox is easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Vienna, Austria. Email and telecommunications providers involved in delivery also process communication data to the extent necessary. See the easyname privacy policy for information from the mailbox provider.

Enquiries are deleted once resolved, unless retention duties or the necessary establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require further retention. Documents subject to Austrian tax retention duties are generally kept for seven years, or longer where legally required. Contact is voluntary; we cannot answer an email enquiry without a usable reply address.

5. Requested app-launch notification

The launch-notification button opens your own email application. We receive your request only when you send the message. If you expressly request notification of the app launch, we use your email address and request for that notification. The basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. This does not automatically subscribe you to a general newsletter.

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@zyklusklar.at. Withdrawal takes effect for the future. Your address is removed from the notification list after the notification or withdrawal. Necessary evidence of the request and its handling is retained only for legal duties or the defence of specific legal claims.

6. Health data and the ZyklusKlar app

This information website does not provide an input facility for cycle or health data and has no automatic access to your app entries. According to the feature set described on this website, ZyklusKlar stores your documentation locally on your device. You decide whether to create a report or backup, where to save it and with whom to share it. Exporting a file does not automatically send it to us.

For technical support, please avoid sending health data, complete reports or screenshots containing unredacted personal information. If sensitive information becomes necessary, we first clarify a suitable transmission method and the data-protection requirements. This website notice does not describe an already available store purchase; a future app-store purchase will involve the store's separate processing activities.

7. External links

Research articles and other external services are provided as links. The external service is contacted when you open its link. Its operator is responsible for processing on the destination website. Simply visiting our website does not load embedded content from those linked services.

8. Your data-protection rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, your rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Right to object: Where processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Contact support@zyklusklar.at to do so.

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, email: dsb@dsb.gv.at.

9. No automated decisions

This website does not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, or carry out corresponding profiling.

10. Updates

We update this notice when the services, features or legal requirements change. The current version date is shown on this page.
